The University of Wyoming invites applications for its Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellows Program, aimed at fostering convergence research at the intersection of 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗔𝗜) and diverse disciplines, including 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 (𝗖𝗘𝗔), energy materials, and quantum information sciences and engineering.
Areas of particular interest within CEA include:
• Plant sciences
• High-throughput phenotyping
• Machine vision
• Systems engineering
• Autonomous controls
• Resource optimization
• Microgrid systems
• Supply chain analytics
Funded 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 are also available, starting Summer or Fall 2025, in my research group. These PhD opportunities focus on:
• Carbon-neutral and resilient communities
• Building performance modeling
• Sustainable CEA
