國科會土木水利工程學門繼去年(2023)根據國內外學者專家的意見，量化「期刊聲譽」發表「土木水利工程學門國際期刊排序報告」，希對學者未來投稿期刊的選擇有所助益。今年(2024)接續為進一步協助研究人員提升在國際期刊及會議的投稿成功率，將於 2024 年 11 月 21 日(四)舉辦「土木水利工程國際研究成果發表經驗分享」座談會。因應各專業領域的特質，研發面向及重點仍有異同，本次講座很榮幸地邀請到學門內各領域(結構工程、結構材料、水利生態、交通運輸、大地工程、建築都市、測量製圖、土木材料、營建管理、資訊科技)擔任國內外期刊編輯委員及具有豐富投、審稿經驗的學者，以專題演講及開放式座談分享研究主題研擬、備稿、投稿、審稿、修訂、校稿、刊登乃至延續未來方向的生命周期歷程中的學術經驗。座談中並邀請 Elsevier、ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers)、Springer Nature、Taylor & Francis 等國際期刊主編及編審委員，針對投稿流程關鍵事宜、審稿方式等進行重點解說，對土木水利工程領域年輕學者未來爭取擔任知名國際期刊編輯、或欲投稿至國際社群的碩博士生、教授及研究人員極具參考價值，歡迎報名參加，共襄盛舉~

Dear esteemed scholars and peers,
Following last year's (2023) publication of the "Ranking Report of International Journals in Civil and Hydraulic Engineering" based on feedback from domestic and international experts, aimed at assisting scholars in selecting journals for future submissions, the Civil and Hydraulic Engineering Program of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) will continue its efforts in 2024. To further support researchers in improving their success rates when submitting to international journals and conferences, the program will host the "Sharing Experiences of Presenting International Research Outcomes in Civil and Hydraulic Engineering" on November 21, 2024 (Thursday).
Given the distinct characteristics of various specialized fields, research and development emphases also differ. Therefore, scholars from different subfields within the program (Structural Engineering, Hydraulic Ecology, Transportation, Geotechnical Engineering, Urban and Building Design, Surveying and Mapping, Civil Engineering Materials, Construction Management, and Information Technology) who serve as editorial board members of international journals are invited to share their academic experiences through keynote speeches and open discussions. Topics will include drafting research themes, manuscript preparation, submission, peer review, revisions, proofreading, publication, and continuing future research directions throughout the life cycle of an academic paper.
Editors-in-chief and editorial board members from prominent international journals like Elsevier, ASCE, and Springer Nature will also be invited to provide critical insights into the submission process and peer review methods, making this seminar highly valuable for graduate students, professors, and researchers in the field of civil and hydraulic engineering looking to submit their work to the international academic community.
