Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher

Job Description:

Dr. Tanyel Bulbul plans to recruit a postdoctoral researcher. The position is available starting in Spring 2025. The successful candidate will contribute to funded research projects focused on bullding construction and assembly. Our research primaily explores the application of of augmented reality (AR) displays in construction and human-computer interaction. This includes investigating the impact of AR displays, robotics, and other advanced technologies on construction workers using tools such as electroencephalogram (EEG) and other equipment to enhance construction efficiency and safety. Additionally, the successiful candidate will assist in writing grant proprosals to secure both internaland external funding, as well as mentor graduate students.

Requirements:

(i) Ph.D. in civil engineering, building construction, architectural engineering, computer science, data science, or other related disciplines

(ii) Research experience in the civil engineering, buiding construction, or human-computer interaction area

(iii) Self-motivated, able to work independently as  collaboratively

(iv) Good oral and written communication skills

Preferred but not required:

(i) Research experiences in building construction, human-computer interaction, or AR application

(ii) Demonstrated a good pubilication record
